Questions parents ask
Quick answers about downloading, printing and using our ebooks and printables. Can’t find yours? Email hello@littlekiddle.com and a real person will help.
Buying and downloading
What exactly am I buying?
You’re buying a digital product: an ebook, parenting guide, printable pack or bundle. It comes as a file you download, usually a PDF. Nothing is shipped to your home. You can read it on a screen or print it yourself.
How do I get my files after I pay?
Right after payment, you’ll see a download button on the order confirmation page. We also email you a receipt with your download link, usually within a few minutes. Tap the link to save the file to your device.
Do I need to make an account?
No. You check out as a guest with your name, email and a WhatsApp number (so we can help with your order). Your links come by email, so please type your email address carefully.
My download email hasn’t arrived. What should I do?
First, check your spam, junk or “Promotions” folder and search for “Little Kiddle.” Then check that the email address on your order is spelled right. Still nothing after 30 minutes? Email hello@littlekiddle.com with your name and the email you used, and we’ll resend your link.
My download link says it has expired. Can I get it again?
Yes. Each link works for a limited time and number of downloads to keep your files safe. Just email us your order number and we’ll send a fresh link.
The file won’t open. What can I try?
Most problems are fixed by one of these steps:
- Make sure the download has finished before opening it.
- Open it with a free PDF reader such as Adobe Acrobat Reader, Apple Books or your phone’s Files app.
- Try on a computer if your phone has low storage.
Still stuck? Email us a screenshot and we’ll fix it or send a new file.
Reading on devices
What devices can I read the ebooks on?
Any phone, tablet or computer that opens PDF files. That includes iPhone, iPad, Android phones and tablets, Mac, Windows PCs and Chromebooks. Picture books look best on a tablet or a larger screen, where the colors and pictures really shine.
Can I read them on a Kindle?
Yes, with a small tip. You can send a PDF to your Kindle library using Amazon’s free “Send to Kindle” feature. On a Kindle Fire tablet or the Kindle app for phones and tablets, pages show in full color. On a black-and-white Kindle e-reader, pictures appear in gray and the text may be small, so we suggest a tablet for picture books.
We’re also preparing Kindle editions on Amazon.
Can I use the files on more than one device?
Yes. You can keep your files on all the devices in your own household, like your phone and your partner’s tablet.
Printing at home
Will the files print on US Letter and A4 paper?
Yes. Our files are designed to print well on both US Letter (8.5 × 11 in) and A4 (210 × 297 mm). In your print settings, choose “Fit to page” or “Scale to fit”. This keeps the whole page in view with no edges cut off.
What printer and paper should I use?
Any home inkjet or laser printer works. Plain paper is fine for activity sheets. For coloring and pages kids use again and again, try thicker paper or cardstock (around 65–110 lb / 175–300 gsm), if your printer can take it. Check your printer’s manual for the thickest paper it supports.
Can I print in black and white to save ink?
Yes. Choose “Grayscale” or “Black and white” in your print settings. Pictures will look lighter, but activities still work well.
Can I get a print shop to print it for me?
Yes, for your own family’s use. You can take the file to a local print shop, office supply store or library printer. Just don’t print copies to sell or give away outside your household.
Do you sell printed paperback books?
Not yet. For now our books are digital downloads you can print at home.
Prices and payment
What currency will I pay in?
We show prices in US dollars, British pounds, Canadian dollars or Australian dollars if you’re in those countries, and in Indian rupees everywhere else. The final amount and currency appear at checkout before you pay. Your bank may add a small foreign transaction fee. That fee is set by your bank, not by us.
How can I pay?
We take payment through Razorpay, a secure payment company. The payment methods available to you are shown at checkout. Our site uses HTTPS encryption (look for the lock in your browser bar), and Razorpay handles your card details, so we never see or store your full card number.
Can I get a refund?
Yes, under our Happy-Parent Promise. If a file is faulty, missing or not as described, tell us within 14 days and we’ll fix it, replace it or refund it. Because downloads can’t be returned, we can’t refund a change of mind once you’ve downloaded. Please see our Refund Policy for the details.
Ages and choosing the right book
What ages are your books for?
We make books and printables for children from birth to age 7. Each product page shows the age range it suits best. Our parenting guides are written for grown-ups.
How do I choose the right one for my child?
Start with “Shop by Age” in the menu. Each product page shows what’s inside and, for most products, sample pages. If you’re unsure, email us your child’s age and what they enjoy. We’re happy to suggest something.
Are your books in English?
Yes. Our books are written in simple English for families everywhere. A few learning packs also teach Hindi letters and words, and their product pages say so.
Gifts, sharing and classrooms
Can I buy an ebook as a gift?
Yes. Buy it with your own email, then forward the download email to the person you’re giving it to, or print it and wrap it up. Please send each gift copy to one family only.
Can I share my files with friends or family?
You can share them with everyone in your own household, and with your child’s grandparents or caregiver for use with your child. Please don’t forward or post the files for other families. We’re a small team, and each purchase helps us make the next book.
Can teachers use your printables in the classroom?
Yes. One purchase covers one teacher using it with their own class or group. Each extra teacher or classroom needs its own copy. Please don’t upload files to a shared school drive. For school-wide use, email us. See our Terms of Service for the full license.
Can I read your books aloud on YouTube or social media?
Please ask us first at hello@littlekiddle.com. We often say yes.
